What “pulled” refers to: This refers to meat that has been cooked slowly over low heat for a long period of time; it needs to cook for 7-8 hours or more until it becomes tender, which causes the meat to soften enough to weaken the connective tissue, enabling it to be easily pulled apart or separated into strands, hence the definition.

These recipes have endless uses and can be served as a topping for sandwiches, tacos, fajitas, toast, soups, salads, etc.
One recipe that we would like to share is pulled pork puff pastry with caramelized onions, horseradish, endive, chimichurri mayonnaise and crispy ham, which you can find below.
PULLED PORK PUFFED PASTRY WITH CARAMELIZED ONIONS, HORSERADISH, ENDIVE, CHIMICHURRI MAYONNAISE AND CRISPY HAM
– Puff pastry
– Exquisitarium pulled pork
– Exquisitarium caramelized onions
– Chimichurri spice mix
– Serrano ham
Cut the puff pastry into approximately 12×6 rectangles and bake in the oven at 190°C for 20 minutes without pricking the dough. Allow to cool then cut in half lengthwise.
Cut the horseradish into very thin slices, then cut these slices in half again.
Clean the endive and cut it into 3-4 cm pieces.
Mix the mayonnaise with the chimichurri spices until the desired flavor intensity is achieved (it should have a mild flavor).
Fry slices of serrano ham until crispy, set aside on a paper towel.
To create the dish, place the following on a base of puff pastry in this order:
– Pulled pork
– Caramelized onion
– Chimichurri mayonnaise
– Crispy ham
